STRENGTH TRAINING FOR THE ENDURANCE ATHLETE

BFunctional is teaming-up with the Celtic Academy in hosting a training block directed at those athletes wishing to strive for a higher level in their performance.

Aims:

> Injury Prevention

> Mechanical Efficiency

> Increase Power Output

What is included:

> Functional Screening

> 6 week periodised training block, 2 sessions per week

> All sessions are coached, emphasis on compound lifts

When:

> Wednesday 8pm and Saturday 10am [1 hour per session]

> Begins Saturday 4th November – Saturday 16th December

> Attendance at all 12 sessions is required

The Celtic Academy is a results driven Life Changing Training facility based at the world famous Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales. The gym’s pedigree as an environment similar to that you’d find in a professional sports environment has been reinforced by the calibre of teams that have used the gym as their training base whilst on their travels. From the teams of the 2015 Rugby World Cup to Team GB’s Track Cycling team during their prep for Rio 2016, the gym comfortably holds its own when world class athletes are in house, but is at its best when full of everyday people looking to get more back from the hard work and dedication they put in to their Life Changing Training.
